New York Air Travel
New York has three major airports. You will want to check for discount New York tickets to each of the major airports as a "fare war" may impact one airport but not another.
JFK International Airport is the largest New York
airport. JFK is a huge airport, and a bit far from the city --
both of which conspire to make it difficult to get in and out of
Manhattan -- expect travel to take 40-60 minutes.
La Guardia Airport is a convenient choice close to
Manhattan. Expect travel to take 20-30 minutes.
Newark Airport is close to Manhattan, but travel times from the airport can be 30-60 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay an extra fare if returning by taxi to Newark Airport from Manhattan since only Jersey cabs can take fares from Jersey into Manhattan.
