Rome Air Travel
Rome is serviced by Rome Fiumicino International Airport (airport code "ROM").
For travelers from the United States, the following airlines have flights to Rome: Continental, Delta, US Airways, British Airways, American Airlines, Northwest/KLM, AlItalia, and United. You may be able to find discount air tickets online.
The easiest way to get into the city from the airport is to take the train from the airport to one of the two Rome train stations (about 20 minutes) and then take a cab from the station to your hotel. If you're staying in the center of the city, the best train station is Rome Termini, but double check with the information booth when you arrive at the airport train station (outside customs).
