Budapest Air Travel
Budapest's Ferihegy International Airport is a modern, clean airport that's 24km outside the city center. Airlines include Malév Hungarian Airlines, British Airways, AlItalia (codeshare with Malev), and KLM. You may be able to find discount tickets online.
Getting Into Town
Avis, Inka, and Americana have rental counters at the airport if you'll be needing a car for your stay.
If you're not renting a car, the easiest and most cost effective way into town for three or less people is to take the Airport Minibus Service. The service is 1800Ft one way and takes only a few passengers, so you will not make a lot of stops in the city center.
The easiest way to return to the airport is to take a taxi, expect to pay about 2800Ft to Pest and 3200 Ft to Buda.
