Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains

With 33 lifts and 8000 acres of skiable terrain, and some of the most challenging slopes in the world, even the most advanced skier or snowborder will have plenty to do in Whistler. 

Whistler Resort has two different mountains... Whistler mountain & Blackcomb. The bases of both mountains are connected by the lively Whistler Village.  You may purchase lift tickets for one or both mountains in advance.

Blackcomb mountain also offers summer skiing from June to early August.

When does the official ski season start? I am planning a trip for the first weekend in December. Is this too early? thanks

It all depends on the weather. If there are a couple good storms in November, it'll be a great time to go.
