Vancouver Hotels
Hotels in Vancouver range from traditional to hip and waterfront to city center. Prices tend to be much more reasonable than in nearby Seattle.
My favorite hotels in Vancouver are:
Pan Pacific Vancouver
This waterfront hotel has a perfect location if you're attending a
conference at the convention center or shopping on Robson Street.
Rooms have beautiful views of the Harbor, Mountains, or City. High
speed internet available
Hotel Opus
My personal favorite, the Opus Hotel is located in the new, hip Yaletown
area of Vancouver steps away from some of the city's hottest new restaurants
and shops. Rooms have a modern design and comfortable Frette linens.
High speed internet available.
Sutton Place Hotel
Less expensive than some of it's neighbors in the Robson Street area,
the Sutton Place is a welcoming hotel right in the heart of the shopping
district. Rooms are a bit dated, but clean. The king apartments,
with full kitchens, are a find for extended stays. The Sunday buffet brunch is known for it's luxurious
chocolate table! High speed internet available.
Wedgewood Hotel
This elegant boutique hotel is in the center of downtown shopping.
Sheltered by waterfall gardens, it feels like your own private retreat.
Check out the hotel's elegant spa!
Westin Bayshore Vancouver
Close to Stanley park and the upscale west end of Vancouver, this is a
nice spot if you want a comfortable, view hotel away from the crowds but an
easy trip to downtown.
